Save The Children
“This year we were looking to build on a successful 2010 campaign with Home by increasing our recruitment of regular givers through door-to-door fundraising. Our preference was for a rolling campaign bringing in a steady stream of supporters throughout the year, something Home have delivered very well indeed.
One challenge we faced in setting up the campaign was our wish to avoid fundraising during Save the Children Week to prevent clashing with any volunteer events. Home were very flexible in adapting to this request, organising the campaign so that they took a break for the month of April in which Save the Children week falls. Just as last year, our 2011 campaign with Home is going strong, hitting and exceeding targets for Gift Aid, average value and average age. Whenever we have a query or a problem regarding anything from data to sites our account handlers are quick to respond and sort it out. We have also been very impressed with the enthusiasm for the cause displayed by fundraisers from the many regions we have visited to deliver training sessions. They have all appeared excited to start the campaign and eager to learn as much as they can in order to go out and do the best job possible.
As we come towards the end of a second successful campaign we hope and expect our relationship with Home Fundraising to flourish further in 2012.”
