The Public Fundraising Regulatory Association has been established since 2001, providing regulation for users and providers of face to face fundraising. The PFRA works to ensure that fundraising is undertaken to the highest possible standards of quality, integrity and transparency.

The Institute of Fundraising is the professional body for fundraising, promoting the highest standards in fundraising practice and management. The Institute's website is a key source of information for the latest news within the fundraising sector, information about the self-regulation of fundraising, tax-effective giving techniques and details of the Charities Bill introduced in November 2006.
The Fundraising Standards Board (FRSB) is the self-regulatory body for fundraising in the UK, members of which will agree to adhere to the highest standards of good practice with their fundraising and a Fundraising Promise. Home Fundraising holds membership of the FRSB.
